PREMIERE: Rare Hearts Shares Debut Ballad 'Good Times'

Rare Hearts has just shared his debut single ‘Good Times’, a powerful ballad reminiscing on the bittersweet moments of a former relationship - big mood.

Los Angeles, CA based musician Joe Rojas, a.k.a. Rare Hearts has tapped into a feeling most people have experienced on his glorious new single ‘Good Times’ - missing (the good times with) your ex. While I personally maintain that all of my ex-girlfriends are fucking insane, I’d be lying if there weren’t times I missed ever single one of them for one reason or another and yes - even the woman that tried to blow me up. It’s a weird feeling but a classically human one that Rare Hearts is able to depict on the new track, crashing cymbals and screaming guitars taking the lead amongst passionate lyrics.

On the topic of growing past broken relationships, Rojas offers a positive outlook explaining, “A powerful way for getting over a breakup is to reminisce those good times that you had because there are more to come, It’s easy to fall into the perception of, ‘Oh this is treacherous, and I’m never going to have that again,’ but it’s the opposite. That’s always helped me get over the hurt from breakups instead of ignoring all of that shit that is hard to deal with.”

With such a strong debut, we’re incredibly anxious to see what’s next for Rojas and Rare Hearts - until then we’ll keep crying in our liquor and reminiscing on the good times.
