Last weekend Providence, Rhode Island super-stars Lightning Bolt sold out Don Quixote in Los Angele, CA on the last stop of their most recent tour along with hardcore hitter ANTIMATERIAL WORLDS. Upon playing the first few notes of their set, Brian Gibson and Brian Chippendale turned the calm crowd into a mosh pit of primal animals almost immediately, truly a sight to behold especially in the front row.
Unfortunately, as Chippendale noted a song or two in, Gibson was feeling under the weather with what was thought to be a stomach bug - it ended up being COVID and forced the band to cancel the last 5% of their tour - thanks fucking god we made it out to the last one.
