TOUR DIARY: Slaughterhouse Versus The US With Bad Religion

Riding the flames of their recently released debut LP Fun Factory San Pedro, California’s very own Slaughterhouse has just returned from their biggest tour to date. Supporting the legendary Bad Religion, Slaughterhouse played 10 shows within a two week span, ripping through Arizona, Utah, Washington, Oregon, and back through California.

In chatting with guitarist Taylor Ramirez, we learned that this tour was very special to the band, most of whom grew up listening to Bad Religion in their youth. Taylor noted that her parents, as well as bass player Eddie Cairns' parents used to go to Bad Religion shows in the 80’s, and the entire tour was especially affirming as Bad Religion and their crew were, to quote, “some of the kindest, coolest people.”

Coming in as the first entry into our new column TOUR DIARIES, Photographer Meriel O’Connell took on the US alongside Slaughterhouse, capturing moments on stage, off stage, and everything else in between - browse through the diary below and catch Slaughterhouse this Saturday in their hometown of San Pedro, CA at The Sardine

Slaughterhouse is Veronica Molidor on vocals, Taylor Ramirez on guitar, Eddie Cairns on bass, and Nick Aguilar on drums
