LA Witch Tour Kick Off at The Lodge Room with Poppy Jean Crawford and Tremours
by FRANK MOJICA
It’s been a minute since L.A. Witch last headlined their hometown. 26 months since their Dr. Martens Presents show at Gold-Diggers, to be precise. In the interim, our favorite psych garage rockers released their second album Play with Fire, further fueling the anticipation for their return.
To celebrate the occasion, Mad Alchemy provided a psychedelic liquid lights backdrop to elevate the band's trippy, enthralling spund. "Glad I took shrooms," said the bro behind me. Less conductive to a great trip, however, was the drunk women in the front shoving people out of her way, harassing photographers for doing their job, and trying to fight an underage person.
If anything is worth dealing with someone Karen-ing out, it's a night of killer tunes courtesy of L.A. Witch, with support from Poppy Jean Crawford and Tremours - check out our photos from the gig below + catch LA Witch on tour in your city in the coming weeks
