Opening for drone forefather Dylan Carlson (of the band Earth), our favorite local goth Dove Armitage turned Long Beach punk spot Alex’s Bar into The Black Lodge for a night. Slinking across the stage and writhing amongst the shadowy crowd in black gloves and corpse paint, Dove visionary Quincy Larsen is a hypnotic presence--equal parts see-into-your-soul unnerving and ethereal dark-wave priestess.
