Michael Gross, Bianca Ascencio, and Misty Steppe are the artists behind the massive, experimental soundscapes of Thrill Touch. The trio have rendezvoused together through the pandemic to bring us ‘No Periphery’, their latest single that explores noise made with little communication but with an ironclad focus on the infinite possibilities of the universe. Hypnotic in nature, the bands new track and accompanying music video is borderline macabre, with fleeting vocals and bouncing synths deepening the trance -it’s terrifying but beautiful at the same time, like the embrace of death that promises to end your current existence for a new, more thrilling one in the unknown
No Periphery is an experiment of limitations, produced in a blink of time with minimal communication. It deals with the reflection of our individual selves, as seen through the lens of the pandemic, where we've reached both internally and toward our future projections. It is a song about exploration and transition. After a year of isolation, we see a new vision for ourselves and each other, embracing the abundance of possibilities on the horizon. Without restriction, fully focused, no periphery.
