Maggie Gently captures feelings of change and moving on in wistful new single "Where My Time Went"

New beginnings, melancholy endings, taking that terrifying, yet exhilarating, leap into the unknown - San Francisco, CA’s Maggie Gently captures the feelings of change and moving on in her wistful new single "Where My Time Went" out now through Common Ground Collective.

The video feels like flipping through a stack of dreamy, sun faded polaroids, or the recollected images of a fond memory. It features footage shot by Maggie's girlfriend Ramona during a day trip to Point Reyes, CA which suits the heartfelt honesty of the stripped down single as Maggie effortlessly sings the relatable lines, "I don’t really want it to be time yet / It’s so easy to just do nothing / I know I’ll only wonder where my time went / And I wonder what I’m becoming."

Featuring members of Pllush, The She's (Eva Treadway on guitar and Sinclair Riley on bass) and Joy Weather (Joey Grabmeier on drums), "Where My Time Went" is the perfect tender pop song for the end of summer. The song speaks to the sentimental at heart; those who know when it's time for a new beginning but have a hard time letting go of the past.
